Third and Fourth graders will be able to purchase Recorders from me for $3.50.      Please send cash or check (made out to D.e.A.).

They can go onto Quaver.com - School code is WAKB4D and go to the Recorder section and begin practicing (if they would like).


Bucket Band group, please look under the tab labeled "Bucket Band" for the pieces we are learning.     Be practicing at home.

I am excited to begin a new year at DEA.   Here are a few things that are going on in your child's music class.

Pizzazz is DEA's Show Choir which consists of 3rd and 4th graders.
Auditions are being held during class this week.   Criteria for being in Pizzazz are:
*Be able to sing on pitch
*Be able to move while singing (left/right, possible jazz square)
*Have a bubbly personality
*Must be able to commit to after school rehearsals and performances


Also, I will be starting a Bucket Band this  year.    Auditions will be open for all grades (except Kindergarten).   Criteria are:
* Be able to keep a steady beat
* Be able to commit to after school rehearsals and performances

Recorders:   All 3rd and 4th graders will be playing Recorders.   I will be sending home a letter with information on how your child can purchase one.
